Getting to the city center from the Vienna Airport:
If you are travelling to Vienna by plane, there are several ways to get to the city center. The commute takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on the type of transportation that you choose. For the transfer from the airport to the city, we recommend taking a train (public train or the CAT), a bus (Vienna Airport Lines), or a taxi. If you want to take a taxi, don’t hop into a cab waiting at the airport (as they are expensive), but pre-order a taxi instead. You can google for ‘Vienna Airport taxi’ and pre-book with one of the service providers (they all do a good job).
Getting around in the city:
